​Important Note:  
I generally do not perform anal gland expression. According to the vets I have consulted with, with some pets, regular external expression can lead to dependence and serious complications such as ruptures. 

I also do not perform ear hair plucking unless your pooch absolutely needs it. Many dogs will develop issues after ear plucking such as infections in the ear canal or external infections from rubbing/scratching afterwards. I am happy to discuss this with you at the time of the appointment.


Nail Trims: For Dogs & Cats

I will come to your house to perform those dreaded nail trims and bring all the equipment with me. All I ask is that you help to hold your pet if necessary. Multi-pet nail trim discounts available! 

While I do not offer Cat Grooming at this time, I do offer nail trims for your kitty. Mini-treat bags are provided for all clients!

Pricing:  

Mobile grooming is an exclusive, convenient service for you and allows your furbaby to enjoy his or her groom without the hustle, bustle and stress of a busy salon, not to mention the car ride both ways.

Unlike a shop, Very Important Pooch Mobile can only groom a few dogs per day, one at a time, start-to-finish (no cage drying!), so each dog receives specialized, individual one-on-one attention from the moment he or she steps a paw into the mobile grooming spaw. 

Prices vary according to size, temperament, coat condition, coat type (undercoat/double coat/shedding), breed, and length of time inbetween grooms. A pet with a well-maintained coat that gets groomed regularly (every 1 week to 12 weeks) will cost less than a knotted, matted, or heavily shedding pet.  In general, prices are about $25-$35 above quality salon prices which includes all services plus the housecall fee. I cannot quote an exact price without seeing your Very Important pooch in person; I can only give an estimate, so fill out the Contact Form today!
